Educators

The Association of Ontario Land Surveyors supports Educators with an interest in surveying. We have set up a specialized set of information and products for educators in our Members' side, however, you will require an account to access them. Please contact our Member Services Coordinator to have an account set up. When doing so please use your school board's email address and and provide your name and position, and your OCT number.

Presentations to Schools

If you are a school representative and would like to request a presentation by a professional surveyor, please email the AOLS office through our contact form.

Please make sure to include the following information:

• School name and address
• Your name and contact information
• The type of presentation you need, e.g., for a school class, for a career fair

Please note that there is a limited number of surveyors who are able to make these presentations, and we are using this request form primarily to determine the need for this type of presentations in the school system. That said, we hope we are able to fulfill many of your requests.

Specialist High Skills Major

The AOLS has worked with the Ministry of Education to develop surveying elective courses under the Construction Specialist High Skills Major. A short description brochure is available here. For additional information please contact the AOLS.
